This three-axis gimbal positioning and rate pan tilt unit (PTU) consists of a mechanical unit and a measurement and control system. It provides angular position, angular rate, and angular acceleration excitation, with 360° continuous rotation on all three axes, enabling static attitude simulation testing and accuracy calibration for units under test (UUT).
