This portable single-axis motorized pan tilt unit (PTU) consists of a super-hard aluminum tabletop and a drive and control system. It rotates the payload at preset rates (5–30°/s) and angular accelerations (100°/s²) with an angular position accuracy of ±10″, making it a high-precision rotary table for position, rate, and repeatability testing of inertial devices.
