This compact benchtop three-axis motorized pan tilt unit (PTU) is a high-precision three-axis electric motion platform primarily composed of a mounting tabletop, a three-axis gimbal frame assembly, and a drive and control system. It executes precise position and rate motions for dynamic attitude simulation, as well as for the testing and calibration of inertial devices such as integrated inertial measurement units (IMUs).
