This compact dual-axis motorized pan tilt unit (PTU) consists of a mechanical unit and a measurement and control system in a U-T frame structure. It provides precise horizontal, position, and rate references for payloads under test and serves static testing, calibration, and multi-position measurement of inertial systems such as inertial navigation systems.
