But he multiple applicability is far from achievable if the circuitry structure aspect of the slip ring is not looked into properly. It is just not with 1.50" slip ring series there are other variants of the slip ring which has a certain specific set of circuit structure requirement.

 

      The slip ring manufacturer has always been advising the attain the perfect combination of the slip ring and the circuit structure. Here we will be primarily discussing the types of circuitry system available for the 1.50" slip ring series.

 

Different circuit options that are available for the 1.50" bore slip ring series.

2.0 Amp

      The 2.0 Amp circuit type is applicable in case of all the three kinds of brushes. Be it the carbon. Silver, and graphite. They are applicable in case of conductive rings which are either made up of brass, coin silver, brass and plated silver.

 

      It consists of two-fold brush patterns with is quite compact. As mentioned earlier, the compact brushes are radiused to form a formidable brush assembly. As a result of which, the contact between the slip ring and brush is held intact. This crucial circuit option makes way for an output voltage of 28V.

0.6 Amp

      The use of the super compact assembly of brushes and a three post design of the brushes are useful in keeping the height of the design minimum. They provide circuit options of copper and silver graphite brushes with silver plated or coined brass conductive rings. And the voltage option provided is 28V.

7.5 Amp

      The use of the super compact assembly of brushes and a two post design of the brushes are useful in keeping the height of the design minimum. They provide circuit options of copper and silver graphite brushes with silver plated or coined brass conductive rings. And the voltage option provided is 28V to 1000V range.

10 to 15 Amp

      The use of brushes in this design is different. They use a brush assembly of 0.125 brushes and the two post design of the brushes is useful in keeping the height of the design minimum. They provide circuit options of copper and silver graphite brushes with silver plated or coined brass conductive rings. And the voltage option provided is 28V to 1000V.

20 Amp

      The use of brushes in this design is similar to the previous 10-15 amp design. They also use a brush assembly of 0.125 brushes and the two post design of the brushes is useful in keeping the height of the design minimum. They provide circuit options of copper graphite brushes with brass conductive rings. And the voltage option provided is 28V to 1000V.

30 to 45 Amp

The use of brushes in this design is similar to the previous designs.

 

      The slip ring and the brush are evolving as more research is being conducted on the slip rings. They have become an integral part of many industries and soon may become a part of the daily households.
